With so many amazing events and activities taking place, we hope to shine a light on few of the good work that definitely requires recognition and should encourage many more to follow in their footsteps.
Some of the nearly 1,200 underprivileged children from 22 NGOs in Kolkata and suburbs at Nicco Park enjoying a fun time on the second day of the week-long Daan Utsav, today (3/10/18). The group included at least 100 children with special needs.
Nearly 1,500 schoolchildren from underprivileged backgrounds were provided with school bags, exercise books, geometry boxes etc. at YRC Nabadisha Suprabhat Sangha Club, Lake Gardens, on the first day of the week-long Daan Utsav (2/10/18).

It was the kids’ day out for a tricycle rally in Survey Park, Jadavpur, Kolkata, organized by the Euro Kids. The Euro Kids joined hands with Vivekananda Mission Sewa Pratisthan (VMSP) for Wish Tree and Sandwich Sewa, on the fourth day (5/10/18) of the week-long Daan Utsav.
Nearly 600 children visited the MP Birla Planetarium for a show of the stars, sun, moon and the universe. They were treated with food boxes, given goodie bags, enjoyed a magic show and had lots of fun on the fourth day (5/10/18) of the week-long Daan Utsav.
Daan Utsav volunteers joined hands with the Bengal Network of People Living With HIV, as part of the “Fistful of Joy” programme to hand over rice, dal, tea, atta, clothes, and toys, on the fifth day (6/10/18) of the week-long Daan Utsav.
